Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This paper puts forward a model of introduction of thixotropic excess pore pressure induced (TEPP) to describe the soil liquefaction analysis method of pile soil interaction under, and is verified by shaking table model test, solve the pile lateral expanding extrusion process middle in the process of interaction of is how to simulate the change of excess pore pressure and intensity of soil stiffness attenuation. The reliability of the method is verified by comparison with the shaking table test results. Then, the parameter analysis of soil-pile interaction is carried out. In this paper, it is concluded that the bending moment and horizontal displacement of pile foundation are proportional to the site surface viscosity and inclination Angle, and the horizontal dislocation and bending moment of pile foundation are inversely proportional to the loading frequency due to the characteristics of amplifying low-frequency load and filtering high-frequency load after soil liquefaction. The theoretical innovation point of this paper is clear and the experimental design is novel. However, there are some problems in this paper, which are suggested to be modified and employed. The problems are as follows:

1.It is recommended to describe the relationship between r_u and λ in detail and whether it is an inverse proportional relationship.

2.In Fig.5(b), η should be bold.

3.Fig.9 ground suggestion is in the same format as Fig.10.

4.Fig.12 Horizontal coordinate Spelling problem of horizontal coordinate.

This manuscripts provides a numerical and experimental analysis of the thixotropic-induced excess pore pressure model (TEPP) to describe the progressive development of the stress-strain rate connection of liquefying soil. The research topic is interesting and developing and the manuscript is well written and clear. I recommend it for publication after fullfilling the following remarks.

1 Please add a citation for FCBI elements. Since they are not the very conventional finite elements a citation of quick referncing is very important.

2 The dynamic analysis was conducted via Newmark method? If so write it clearly (transient method is not very clear) if not pleae add a citation as in the remark 1 to explain the method used.

3 In the verification section please write in a sentence the largest divergence between the tests and experiments and where this is found.

4 In the introduction section or conclusion section (whenever the authors find appropriate) please add a sentence regarding Broms Method in pile analysis and where it should fit as a comparison with the analysis conducted.
