Comments and Suggestions for Authors

Manuscript "Green Chemistry and its impact on the transition towards Sus-2 tainable Chemistry: A Systematic Review" whose title promises a comprehensive and systematic review on the Didactics of Green Chemistry within Chemistry Education, aiming to explore the educational implications of Green Chemistry in light of increasing environmental concerns, constitute and engaging read. It is composed in an interesting language and collect an impressive number of precedents. However, there are some points that need to be improved and clarified:

Introduction

- The word "principles" in "the principles of green chemistry" is written in lower and upper case within the text. Please modify it to be consistent.

-Lines 25-32: The sentence "In the world of chemistry, these problems are particularly pressing, especially in issues related to the processes of extraction and production of products of everyday use for society, resulting in an interface between chemistry and sustainability that requires a specific approach" is understood but the wording can be improved.

- Since you talk about the 12 principles of green chemistry, I think it would be appropriate to include a figure illustrating these 12 principles. I think that would make it much easier to understand them and it will improve the article.

Methodology

- Line 101-114: In section 2.1 Elegibility criteria the authors stated "All the studies that do not specifically focus on the teaching of Green Chemistry or that address topics not relevant to the goals of the review have been excluded. Also excluded were textbooks, laboratory guides and other educational resources that do not constitute research articles, studies specific to the area of Chemistry but which do not deal with educational aspects or address the concept of Green Chemistry, as well as those done outside Spain."

In relation to this point the authors says that they are excluding works outside Spain, why? And, in Table 1, there are some articles as number 4 from Chen et al. that is not performed in Spain so you are not excluding them. Could you please clarify this point?

Results

- Figure 1 has some numbers cut off, such as 330, has spelling correction marks (red line under Dialnet for example), the style of lettering do not match the rest of the text and the quality is not good. Please try to improve it.

Page 7 to 20 is blank, please remove it.

- Table 1 does not match the same style as Table 2.

In light of the above, I suggest its publication after the addressed of the points indicated.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

Dear Authors!

The manuscript intitled "Green Chemistry and its impact on the transition towards Sus3 tainable Chemistry: A Systematic Review" is dedicated to the topic of the Didactics of Green Chemistry in the field of Chemistry Education. There are systematic analysis of the manuscripts that postulate the principles of green chemistry approaches and the strategies of pupils educations. I have not any valueble comments and suggestions to the manuscript due to it is very clear and precisely solves the aims, hovewer the references analized have limited by Spain only. It will be interesting and very helpful to realize the proposed approach to the all worldwide publications that aims to the green chemistry methodology and education.
