Comments and Suggestions for Authors

Comment 1: This paper examines the Impact of Financial Wills on Social Development sustainability. More specifically, it focuses on the Wills in Muslim culture. In the preface part, the clarification of the term “wills” makes the wills in the context of Muslim culture. Therefore, it would be better if it could include the word Muslim in the title, which would be more conducive for the readers’ information retrieval.

Comment 2: The references in the paper are textual and documents, such as the sustainability goal of UN, and the Holy Quran. In the six sections, the Holy Quran is an important reference for the author and provides most useful examples during the argumentation. The source of the "financial will" is also mostly from the records in the Holy Quran, which makes the article lack some practical examples. If the author wants to illustrate how financial wills in Muslim culture affect social sustainability, he needs to provide more practical proof from Muslim culture. In other words, the way how Muslims treat financial wills in today's society could be consistent with that recorded in the Holy Quran, but directly using the text to explain makes the article now seems to be more like an analysis of the effects of financial will among the Holy Quran on social development under a modern perspective of sustainability.

Comment 3: In the second section, the author used one story in the Holy Quran to show how the wills impact the using of natural resources. The substantive analysis statements in this section are relatively weak. The small size of this section makes the argument seem inadequate. The authors may consider adding some descriptions other than water resources or merge this paragraph into Chapter 2 in the economic aspect.

Comment 4: The argument in Chapter 2 is well-organized but here is one thing unclear. The last sentence in the last paragraph on page 11 provides a new concept “sustainable development in Islam”. However, the concept of sustainable development in the previous paragraph has been put forward under the concept of the United Nations, but here the concept of sustainable development was put in Islam. The author needs to consider if it is necessary to explain these two different concepts or to be more specific.

Comment 5: In line 38-39, the author mentions ‘To what extent does the wills system contribute to achieving the goals and dimensions of sustainable development?’. This problem mentions the extent of extension, but it is not obvious how it is solved in the article. Hope the author can make some additions.

Comment 6: The typography of Line 87-105 is strange, the author should reorganize it.

Comment 7: In the line 196-224, the author lists 17 goals. How many do these goals achieve?

Good evening
Thank you to the scientific expert for these valuable comments

1.An Islamic description has been added to the title to guide the content towards its essence, based on this recommendation.

2.The research idea revolves around highlighting the theoretical legislative aspect and its contribution to achieving sustainable community development. Additionally, several scientific models are cited to illustrate this contribution from the perspective of contemporary society within the study.

3.The paragraph discussing the impact of directives on natural resource utilization has been integrated into the second chapter concerning the economic dimension of sustainable development, based on the second proposal by the scientific expert.

4.Both definitions are practically similar, with the original definition of sustainable development being the one adopted by the United Nations. However, I pointed out that sustainable development in Islam is governed by its rules, regulations, and philosophy.

5.The study encompassed within its axes and divisions what affirms this.

6.Reorganization has been carried out."

7.The Islamic directive system has achieved seven out of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as reflected in the subheadings of the research. This has also been incorporated into Research Outcome No. 7."

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

This study aims to illustrate the impact of the relationship between wills and sustainable development.

The author issued 2 research problems.

1.     To what extent does the wills system contribute to achieving the goals and dimension of sustainable development?

2.     Can wills be leveraged and optimally employed to achieve sustainable social development, which has become the primary goal of international organisations and con-41 temporary countries today?

Also, 3 research objectives were formulated.

1.     Investigate the impact of the relationship between wills and sustainable development.

2.     Investigating the impact of wills on the dimensions and goals of sustainable development in societies.

3.     Investigate the impact of wills on achieving charitable developmental purposes within societies, highlighting their importance in societal advancement, and that they are no less important than endowment systems, which have often been influenced by wills in theory and practice. It is even said that endowment rulings can be derived from will provisions.

8. Chapter one. The author lists the goals set by the United Nations in 2015 without specifying their connection to financial wills.

The author must explain why he chose to discuss the impact of wills on Eliminating Poverty and Hunger, Securing Natural Resources ‘Water as a Model’ , Providing Education and Sponsorship for Learners and Healthcare Provision

The objectives formulated at the beginning of the article are not sufficiently detailed in the end.

The bibliography needs to be updated.

Good evening, many thanks to the scientific expert for these valuable comments.

1.The listing of these goals preceded the discussion of the impact of Islamic financial directives on achieving those goals. This is evident from the subheadings of the research, upon which the study is based. It was also noted that the Islamic directive system has achieved seven out of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, and this has been included in Research Outcome No. 7.

2.This was mentioned to clarify the impact of directives on those aspects specifically, without others, through reviewing the texts of the Quran, the Sunnah (Prophetic traditions), the jurisprudential deductions, and practical applications of Muslim directives."

3.By examining the research findings, we find that the desired objectives of the study have been achieved.

4.It has been reorganized according to the journal's template
