Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The abstract must contain the research results in brief. So, we know the process to the results briefly in the abstract.

The author must create a framework (chart) to facilitate understanding of the researcher's thinking process.

If there are respondents who do not know (in the first question), then they should not be respondents for the next answer. Otherwise, their answers will be biased for the next stage.

The survey result chart is a raw chart, because they are findings in the field. The author should present the results of the analysis and processing of his findings. This becomes a serious problem when the author only presents facts. The author must make an analysis of the existing facts.

The evaluation section is too long.

The conclusion section is too long because the direction of the research is not very clear.

Answers:

  1. The summary of the results has been added.
  2. The research process graph is the end of the third section.
  3. The survey review includes many different topics related to urban life for the analysis of the city of Güzelyurt. Therefore, the answers to the first question do not affect the other questions of the survey.
  4. The current fact analysis regarding the survey results is given in summary in the evaluation section.
  5. The evaluation and conclusion sections analyze and conclude the results of the study in detail.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

This study can provide policy and planning advice for urban development and renewal by analyzing the basis of Morphou's urban transformation and evaluating the application of topography, agriculture as a set and urban identity based on the concept of urban imagery and slow city criteria. Overall good.

I think it is necessary to emphasize the significance and case value of the concept of slow city for today's urban development in the introduction, theoretical basis and discussion.

From the perspective of content structure, 2.3Morphou (Guzelyurt) is the introduction of the case location. It should be placed at the front of the Introduction section or the results section and the logic will be clearer.

In section 2. Theoretical Framework, I will propose to add how these concepts and elements constitute the content of section 3. Methodology, and further strengthen the logical connection between these two parts in the exposition.

The illustruations in 4.1. Physical Analysis of Morphou can also be presented in a clearer and more concise style.

I suggest the authors read and cite more current studies (past 10 years) of slow city cases in other developing countries and regions. Then, in the discussion parts, they can deliver some comparative discussions.

Comments on the Quality of English Language

The language is readable, but it needs further polishing and some of the sentences are not very academic.
