Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

It is interesting topic with good research design and special knowledge. I see a wide and relevant author bord also. I suggest to publish it!

Author Response

Dear Dr/Professor,
Thank you very much for your comments and suggestions. We earnestly appreciate for your warm work and consider the publication of our manuscript entitled “Retrieval of Aerodynamic Parameters in Rubber Tree Forests Based on the Computer Simulation Technique and Terrestrial Laser Scanning data”. On behalf of my co-authors, we would like to express our great appreciation to you.
      Thank you and best regards.
Sincerely,
Zhixian Huang, Xiao Huang and Ting Yun (on behalf of all co-authors)

Reviewer 2 Report

The manuscript was well organized to show retrieval of aerodynamic parameters in Rubber tree forests. There are some minor comments below:

L299: λ was shown in Section 2.3.2 instead of 2.3.1.

L299: Only one tree was measured in each plot? Are there any differences between trees in the same plot even with the same clone?

L333: The simulation was conducted with speed of 15 m/s. This speed is too low for Hurricane?

L357: Unstable turbulence (up to 15%) occurs in the plot 1 which results in partial branch breakage. Please explain why partial branch breakage occurs with this turbulence although not in the plot 2 with 5%.
