The work is interesting, the authors have made a considerable effort.
The proposed method is interesting, but it is uncertain and from what the authors present this method does not improve substantially, the accuracy of measurements using the integrated navigation and positioning system BDS / SON for 5G, combined with communication signals and high precision positioning signals .
The authors say that the proposed method, not only can effectively fill the blind spots of the BeiDou signal, achieve continuous navigation and positioning when blocked and disturbed, but also effectively improve the positioning coverage area and positioning accuracy.
From what the authors present, however, this algorithm does not have a large share in eliminating errors or improving accuracy.
The method is conditioned by the use of communication through 5G technology, which is currently available in most countries.
The authors say that BDS / SON integration is a feasible technical means for depth and 5G and BDS integration.
From my point of view, the described method is ambitious, but the authors should have made a comparison between geodetic or geocentric coordinates, ie something like:
point 1, has the geodetic coordinates:

B = 46.354523891
L = 25.353215892
H = 125,312 meters.
Coordinates determined with a method and the same determined when applying the proposed new algorithm.
To tell the authors what station they used and to give the coordinates of the permanent station used and the coordinates determined with the proposed method and the coordinates determined with other current methods.

Full Title: A New Type of 5G-Oriented BDS/SON High Precision Integrated Positioning

 The paper submitted to RS perform an analysis through a robust adaptive fading filtering algorithm and Kalman filter to improve the stability and accuracy of positioning results.

The topic is of considerable interest to the scientific community and the paper is analysed in original submission. The paper has been edited according to the RS instructions for authors and is set up correctly in all its paragraphs. In my opinion, the study is adequately original and the methodological approach is rigorous. The introduction synthesizes the scientific background. The methods and tools are described with details to allow another researcher to reproduce the results. The results are interpreted in appropriate way and the data are robust enough to draw the conclusions. I observe a minor weakness regarding the sequencing of the articles cited in the references and how results are showed in the tables.

There are only a few minor comments that the authors should reply before being published:

  • Line 18, please define “PNT”;
  • Line 62, please observe that the references should start with [1]; also, 5 citations are too many, please report only those that you think are of most interest to the reader;
  • Line 91, 11 citations are too many, please report only those that you think are of most interest to the reader; it would also be appropriate not only to report the works, but above all to show what results have been achieved in this works;
  • Line 274, please observe that the citation [24] is missing, please recheck the order;
  • Line 289, please insert an extra space before [26];
  • Line 340, please observe that the citation [27] is missing, please recheck the order;
  • Line 428, table 2: I suggest to the authors that they should show in the table the two decimal places;
  • Line 430, table 3: I suggest to the authors that they should show in the table the two decimal places;
  • Line 458, table 4: I suggest to the authors that they should show in the table the two decimal places;
  • Line 484, figure 5, I can't understand what the red marks in the figure mean, are they outliers? Please modify the figure for the reader;
  • Line 610, please observe that there are 33 citations in the references, but that those 1 and 2, as well as 29-33 are not cited in the text, please check again.

In conclusion the work deserves publication after minor revisions, in my opinion.

Best regards
