Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This paper proposes a method of the ionospheric scintillation compensation in future spaceborne P-band full-pol SAR systems. This results could contribute to the improvement in the accuracy of SAR. Therefore, it is acceptable for publication. However, the following minor correction is needed before its publication.

ll. 67-72: Content of each section is explained. However, it is not consistent with that of the sections described in this manuscript.

A good paper. somewhat deep and complicated which may make it hard for the reader to fully understand. I was pleased there is some attempt to validate the new method and compare to other methods. further comments in the attached marked up pdf
