Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Dear authors,
let me first acknowledge the overall clarity or the paper, as well as the quality of the presented content.
I have also no doubt that there is relevant material in the paper, nonetheless it remains difficult to really appreciate its innovative content, limited in my view to the pitch and roll squint controlling algorithm. I would therefore suggest to better analyse its impact on the overall performance analysis, and keep the focus on the related insights (as it is, the paper is too much scattered and the links between blocks not clear enough).
Please also correct the numerous formatting issues in the references.

Reviewer 2 Report

The article is overall confusing. In the abstract it is mentioning that is supposed to talk about an algorithm but overall it feels as it is focusing a lot on reviewing the properties of a synthetic aperture radar configuration with a single antenna. Please work on reorganize the article and focus on making clear the novelty of this work and how it advances the current state of the art.

Additional comments:

Please introduce a space between citation numbers and the words before them. This error is found multiple times throughout the manuscript.

In many instances there is not a space between a period and the next word.

Figure numbers are not supposed to be next to the word "Figure" (check figure captions)

Please also include more detailed figure captions to help the reader. Increase also the font size inside the figure.

also sometimes space is missing between two words like 294

line 85: what is the "engineering" error?

line 99 "The attitude angle to be controlled will be not more than ±7.6 degrees" . Please rephrase this sentence as it is confusing.

Round 2

Reviewer 2 Report

The authors have replied to the comments appropriately, however the submitted version with crossed out red text makes it hard for the reviewers to review it.

Please submit a version that has red color without any crossed-out text. This can be done fast and guarantee publication.

This manuscript is a resubmission of an earlier submission. The following is a list of the peer review reports and author responses from that submission.
