Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This manuscript analyzed the land subsidence in Xi'an through multi-orbit and multi-temporal InSAR technology, and it conducted research on the coupling relationship between land subsidence, groundwater, and ground fissures. The content is complete and detailed, and it has good application values and reference significance. However, the manuscript needs further improvements in many aspects, as detailed in the attachment.

Reviewer 2 Report

The depletion of groundwater, ground fissure disasters and land subsidence have caused great harm to human society. The manuscript uses InSAR technology to measure the multi-dimensional position and time series displacement of Xi'an City, which has very important scientific significance and social value. The structure of the manuscript is reasonable, the content is detailed, the method is scientific, and the argumentation is scientific and reasonable, but there are still some problems in details. It is recommended to accept after minor revision.

Section materials and Method is revised as Section Method, and this section is swapped with Section Study Area and Data

Figure 9 is not clear.

“Through the analysis of W2 and W3 groundwater data and corresponding deformation sequences, it was found that there is a positive correlation between groundwater and deformation, with a lag time of 64 days and 4 days, respectively” Can you explain why there is such a big difference in response time between the two?

“Our research results indicate that the multidimensional deformation results and timeseries deformation of InSAR have significant advantages in quantitatively evaluating the harm of ground fissures and the loss of groundwater reserves”. Please explain what are the significant advantages?
