Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The writing needs to be improved especially for the abstract and introduction, as it took me several reads to understand why the 2 trials were chosen. The authors could have explained this was a retrospective analysis of 2 completed trials the lead author was involved in. The introduction can be improved too if the authors can explain why there was interest in analyzing physical complaints: is there evidence suggesting children with ADHD had more physical complaints, and if so, which ones? What was the reason for the authors collecting these physical complaints data in the original studies? The findings from both studies were reported separately which can be quite confusing to read in the busy tables.

Reviewer 2 Report

Interesting paper on the effects of a low-food diet on children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. The studies carried out were developed using a methodology suited to the intended objectives. The discussion and conclusions are supported by the results obtained.
