Thermoset Polymer Matrix Structure and Properties: Coarse-Grained Simulations
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
This manuscript by Rudyak et al describes the computational study on the gelation process of a thermoset polymer, focusing on the effect of plasticizer and initiator. The authors employed coarse-grained simulations and graph theory. They proposed a new method to calculate a network topology characteristics and found some relations to the mechanical property. This study includes new insight useful for industrial applications such as rubbers and gels. I would recommend this manuscript for publication in the present form.

Reviewer 2 Report
In this paper, authors studied the thermoset polymer matrix structure and properties using DPD simulation. The results are interesting and the manuscript is also well organized. The article can be accepted for publication after the following revisions.
1. Some parameters as the timestep, the number of density, the bonded functions are missing.
2. On page 7, line 194, the authors claimed that the sharp and nonlinear increase in stress after strain 1.6 due to the stretched segments. Some quantitative results as local order parameter are useful to validate it.
