Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The manuscript "Resin Transfer Mouldable Fluorinated Phenylethynyl-terminated Imide Oligomers with high Tg: Structure - Melt Stability Relationship" describes the synthesis of phenylethynyl-endcapped polyimides. Their thermal properties, rheology behaviour and mechanical properties were evaluated. After thermal cure, all resins show high Tgs and good tensile strengths. For the study of the cure kinetics, DSC, 13C NMR spectroscopy and DFT calculations were used.

Overall, the manuscript is well written and organized. Nevertheless, there are several typos and minor grammatical errors that must be revised. The introduction is and the experimental methodology are appropriate. In page 5, parte of the text is impossible to read as it is overlapped with Scheme 2. While trying to review the Supporting Information, an error 404 (file not found) was retrieved. Please correct this.
