This issue has been addressed in the introduction (page 2) in the revised manuscript. The novelty of our work, especially in the context of drug delivery, has been stressed.

This is a very well written paper aiming at comparing and selecting the most suitable catalyst for the synthesis of the dendritic polyglycerol sulfate dual-responsive drug carrier and proving its efficacy in vitro. The chemical structure characterization and verification was thorough and the favorable cytotoxicity assay results with the three cancer cell lines appear convincing. This reviewer recommends “publish as is”.
