Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

After reading in detail the review article entitled Advances in cruciform biaxial testing of fiber reinforced polymers, I think that the article is very well written and will be a very valuable literature item for Polymers. Despite some minor linguistic errors, which will probably be corrected at the linguistic revision stage, I recommend publishing the article in its current form.

Reviewer 2 Report

In this manuscript, the authors reviewed the advances in cruciform biaxial testing of fibre-reinforced polymer composites. The testing facility (i.e., load frame, strain monitoring and controlling techniques), design of specimens, methodologies and fundamentals of cruciform biaxial testing have been carefully discussed. In addition, the most significant results obtained in terms of the analytical, numerical and experimental analyses of the biaxial tests with cruciform specimens are collected. Finally, the authors summarized significant modifications proposed in literature. The authors presented the important and helpful comments on this topic. This manuscript is well organized and can be considered by this journal.
