Effect of Tillage and Sowing Technologies Nexus on Winter Wheat Production in Terms of Yield, Energy, and Environment Impact
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
Dear Editor
The manuscript titled: “Effect of tillage and sowing technologies nexus on winter wheat production in terms of yield, energy, and environment impact”, discusses agricultural production, with the aim of investigating and evaluating the efficiency of strip cropping and a seeder as well as a no-till in different tillage in terms of yield, energy and environmental impact. The manuscript presents a good scientific argument, necessary for the recommendation of ACEITE with minor corrections:
1 - It is necessary to remove the period (.) from the title of the manuscript
2 - I suggest inserting more citations from the host Journal (Agronomy).
3 - English writing is clear and easy to understand.
4 - In Figure 1 it is necessary to insert the coordinate grid on the map. Remembering that figure 1 is not in good resolution,
5 - Need to better interpret table 1 in the manuscript text.
6 - The item: "2.5. Statistical analysis" needs to be expanded, with more bibliographic background
7 - In the conclusion it is necessary to indicate the possibility of future studies. This further enhances its study at a global level.

The article " Effect of tillage and sowing technologies nexus on winter wheat production in4 terms of yield, energy, and environment impact” Investigated the effectiveness of using strip tillage and a sowing machine, as well as a direct sowing machine, in soils cultivated at various intensities in terms of winter wheat yield, fuel and energy inputs, working time, and environmental impact. The study is interesting; however, some minor comments I have found and need to be addressed, such as the following:
Abstract
· All abbreviations SC-DS, NT-DS, DS and STS in abstract should be provided with its original full meaning. i.e.
· More results should be added to abstract provided with values.
Introduction
Line 44: GHG indicates to what?
Line 62: use European Union instead of EU.
Methods
· Line 110-113: why you repeated the aim of the study here again…..pls delete it.
· Line 205: what does “Student coefficient “indicate to? Is it T-student test?
· It seems strange that you did not mention you subjected the data to ANOVA, and which statistical model you have used to analyze the data.
· For all parameters you analyzed, which software you have implemented?
· Line 208: least not smallest.
· Line 209: what do you mean by “random measurement errors”?
Results
In Table 5: The letters adjacent to values indicate to? If they indicate to statical significance difference so please mention that below the Table as a footnote.

Please remove the word Cereal. Rice and corn are major component? are you sure, what about wheat? please check your statement.
Line 62-64: Please revise, not clear.
Line 205: Student coefficient mean?
Please write briefly and clearly, the software used for data analysis, and figures generations.
