Authors studied " Biogeosystem Technique (BGT*) methodology will provide semiarid landscape sustainability (a case of the South Russia Volgograd region soil resources) ". The study looks interesting and could be suitable for publication in Agronomy.

But after reviewing it based on the following comments:

Authors should use google maps in English to make the images easier to read for the journal's audience.

Between line 149 and line 160 is an excerpt from the article “Thermodynamic mathematical model of the Kastanozem complex and new principles of sustainable semiarid protective silviculture management”. The authors should rephrase the excerpt. The same for the part between line 529 and line 546 is an excerpt from “Roadmap for Valuing Soil Ecosystem Services to Inform Multi-Level Decision-Making in Agriculture”.

The authors should highlight the part concerning the BGT implementations and add more research in this direction.

Authors must correct the format of same references and respect the journal template.

It is a very interesting work, Biogeosystem Technique (BGT*) will be very useful in the future in the current conditions of radical climate changes.

 

After FIgure 13 the authors specify:

"A series of the chemical soil engineering devices for intra-soil mechanical processing, intra-soil pulse continuous-discrete watering, and intra-soil amendment and application of biological products and nanoparticles has been developed".

Were these devices developed by the author or by others [93,94]?

If they were developed by others, what are they looking for here in the RESULTS chapter?

Only your own results should be presented in the RESULTS chapter!

Those made by other authors in the INTRODUCTION chapter!

I reviewed the manuscript entitled " Biogeosystem Technique (BGT*) methodology will provide 2

semiarid landscape sustainability (a case of the South Russia Volgograd region soil resources)" and submitted by Alla A. Okolelova to agronomy.
This paper would fit well into the scope of agronomy. It is an interesting topic. The criteria for the analysis are clearly explained, and well adapted to the scientific question. The objectives are clear. The English is excellent, the structure of the paper logical and clear. The statistical findings are discussed in depth in relation to probable mechanisms and other published studies. The authors point to important directions for new and ongoing research. The illustrations are all necessary and of good standard.

I have no hesitation in recommending this paper for publication after miner revision.

 

1. Limitations in the Discussion section - please expand your discussion of potential limitations place them in a clear subsection within the Discussion section.

 

2. The conclusion is too long, please highlight the main conclusion
