Dear, Authors,

The article is deals with accuracy of seeding. Its very important to put the seed exactly in a place you need. It ensures that the plant will have enough space for growing, enough nutrition, will grow healthy and not require the use of chemical treatment.

Beside the importance of the article some comments to the text:

  • Line 22 - use the scientific recording of the units of measurements - r/min - min-1, line 69 - km/h to km h-1, etc.
  • Line 23 - is the is a special meaning that number after decimal point is more then two?
  • Talking about seeding accuracy, its not explained under which accuracy the BDS navigation system works. What is accuracy difference compared to radar mounted on the tractor?
  • Line 53 and line 63 - the abbreviations for PID, GPS, CAN bus, ASCII, BDGSV frame, BDRMC frame, BDVTG frame and BDGLL for the time must be described.
  • The component "Soil repression wheel" in the Fig.1 is called - soil compaction wheel. Beside, if the BDS stays for Beidou Navigation system, the name of the Fig.1 is not accurate. How the radial tire, fertilizer and seed boxes could be part of the BDS?
  • Fig.2 - the explanatory text is missing for the USART communication line.
  • To be more accurate the Control system of the Fig. 3 must consist for the units (motor, valve, planter, etc) but not from the actions (PWM signal, response, rotational speed, etc.) and missing the one important component seeding rate preselection.
  • Line 148 - the drive motor i would suggest to change to dosing motor or doser. This would be more clear for the readers.
  • Line 294 - the unit of measurement in Capital letters.
  • Line 301 - the dash between the number must be straight, instead wavy.
  • Fig.15 - how would yo explain the drop of the percent of pass with GPS signal?
