Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The articleSeaweed Oligosaccharide Synergistic Silicate Improves the 2 Resistance of Rice Plants to Lodging Stress under High 3 Nitrogen Level” described the effect of Si-based biostimulator of rice .

The introduction is available only literature citation about absent effect of Si fertilizers on rice lodging. But it is available also lot literature about positive effect of Si fertilization of rice logging.

In discussion is available literature data about positive effect of Si on rice logging.

Please put more information about effect of Si on rice logging in the introduction.

Please also give some suggestion about mechanisms.

Material and results are good.
