Reviewer 2 Report

1.      The manuscript has chapters 1, 2, 3, and 5, no chapter 4.

2.      Lines 35-37, 46-47, 53-54, 68-70: please add citations to the relevant literature.

3.      The introduction of the manuscript lacks a clear research objective, lacks research status and main difficulties for estimating crop acreage of menthol mint crop from remote sensing.

4.      The description of the study methodology in lines 377-399 and the Schematic diagram of methodology (Figure 6) are different in the manuscript.

Figures and Tables:

5.      All tables need to be in the format of a three-line table.

6.      The text "in1" in Figure 5 is only half displayed.

7.      The axis name of Figure 7 is missing.

8.      The axis name of the vertical axis in Figure 8 is in the wrong format, please correct it.

9.      The text style in Figure 8 to Figure 15 should be consistent.

References:

10.   The format of references is not uniform.

Reviewer 3 Report

Figure 2 is of very poor quality.
It is very unfortunate that the last data are from 2010. What is the reason for this? Because more than a decade has passed since then and the earth's climate has changed quite significantly in that time.
In the results, in part, I describe something like, drought and floods as the biggest climate hazards that affect crop production. And that droughts are usually prolonged drought due to lack of rainfall. This is a generally known fact.
The conclusion part is very short.
I would also suggest expanding the literature section with additional literature.

The following issues in the manuscript were not revised by the author.

1.       Lines 35-37, 46-47, 53-54, 68-70 are not supported by relevant literature.

2.       In the new manuscript, the research progress and major difficulties for estimating crop acreage of menthol mint crop from remote sensing is still missing.

3.       The text "in1" in Figure 5 is only half displayed.

4.       The axis name of Figure 7 is missing.

5.       The x-axis labels for Figures 10 to 15 have an error with an extra word "year".

6.       The text style remains inconsistent from Figure 8 to Figure 15.

7.       The format of references is still not uniform.

8.       Authors should double check for more details.
