In this paper , water-proof version  has been designed and implemented as a  web-based solution for prefeasibility level analysis of the return on investment of NbS portfolios in watersheds. Water-Proof version  is freely available and open-sourced, with clear methodology and metadata. WaterProof is a technological innovation with the objective of carrying out ROI analysis, at pre-feasi-bility level.

In my opinion, the research results may attract more readers' attention. It is recommended to publish in this journal.

Response 1: Thank you very much for your review and comments. Considering your comment, we have added in the testing and deployment section the reference to the example case study that we have prepared in WaterProof for the city of Bucaramanga in Colombia with the link to its access for the reader's reference. Additionally, in this same section of the manuscript, we have included the link to the results of this case study so that the reader can consult them in detail in WaterProof including summary of financial results, summary of risk results, estimated change in ecosystem services, financial indicators, physical indicators, decision indicators and geographic visualization.

This paper introduced  WaterProof , a web-based solution for pre-feasibility level analysis of the return on investment of NbS portfolios in watersheds. The design, implementation, and global cases were well demonstrated. And the results revealed that the Intergrated tool is highly efficient and flexible for an initial estimation of NbS benefits compared with traditional approach. I think it is a very useful tool for NBS in preserve or restore in different scales of watersheds. The only concern is that the introduction can be improved to make it more academic with some more details of literature review. some phrases can also be adjusted. Frankly, I occasionally feel I am reading a software user guide rather than a scientific article.
