Line 18: Abstract please check the use of vocabulary which you can use in review article or scientific writing.

Line 25-29: These lines are not clear please rewrite it and connect it with each other according to the abstract demand.

Overall abstract is not in sequence. It should follow some sequence, like introduction, review and results and so on which relate to the flow.

Line 44: Follow same pattern for citations.

Line 55-67: This passage is not linked with its every other line. Use sequence and make passage with the related things.

Line 75: “Power full tool’’ clear it and write it how antibiotic work as a power full tool in water.

Line 79: Please cite the study of which results you mention here.

Line 68: Please clear mechanism of action here.

Figure 1 arrange arrows carefully image is not understandable.

Line 114: Update the citation

Line 131-146: “See reference” please follow same pattern in whole article.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

As much work as the authors put in the paper, the prevalence of antimicrobial resistant bacteria and genes in the environment has been known for years. This paper just adds one more update to the collection and brings little else to advance the knowledge on curbing AMR bacteria and genes.

If the introduction section is meant to state the significance and the purpose of this work, I take that the objective of this study is "...implementing efficient wastewater management and surveillance measure." (Lines 66-67). I agree that this focus would have been a much needed knowledge base than the actual content provides. I think we are way past the stage of acknowledging the presence of AMR in all water bodies, and the challenge is how to slow it down and/or minimize its impact. A review on the regulations, management, and technology to curb AMR from the water would have been a much more meaningful contribution. I highly suggest that the authors revise their paper and redirect their focus to a review on the advances made to combat environmental AMR. If appropriate, they can also provide their expertly perspectives on policy making, remedial actions, or ways to minimize environmental AMR's impact on public health.

Comments on the Quality of English Language

English is sufficiently good in the writing of the manuscript. Please be mindful of the use of acronym of AMR, which was defined multiple times throughout the abstract and the main text.
