Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

1-variables should be explain clearly.

2-statistical method must evaluate to up to date new version application.

3-coefficient of determination (r2) were very low but significant at 0.01. how such trend do you explain? it is very strange and not acceptable.

4-conclusions are not clear because your data and  their analysis are not clear.

Author Response

Q1: The variables should be explain clearly.

R1: We have added relevant content in the variables section.

Q2: The statistical method must evaluate to up to date new version application.

R2: We have used Stata 17.0 as the application for this article.

Q3: The coefficient of determination (r2) were very low but significant at 0.01. How such trend do you explain? it is very strange and not acceptable.

R3: Thank you for your suggestion. We increased the study period to 2019 and added the control variable 'Rural household consumption level'. Moreover, the R-sq of the panel data is usually lower than that of the mixed cross-section and time series models, and in this case the within R-sq of the fixed-effect model is used. After this adjustment, the empirical results are still significant and have passed the robustness test and the coefficient of determination is 0.59.

Q4: The conclusions are not clear because your data and their analysis are not clear.

R4: We have added relevant content in the conclusion section.
