Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Overall, nicely written paper. I just have following minor comments

Line 87: Are these numbers for China, USA, Brazil for per year?

Line 89: Suggest changing to “the consumption rate (kg/hectare) is concerning, wherein Maldives (52.6)……”

Lastly, can you include a section on the cost of bio-organic mineral fertilizers and how does that compare to organic and chemical fertilizers? I would suggest adding this somewhere in the end of the paper.

It is suggested to the authors to add the impact it could have on the organic carbon and its physical, chemical and biochemical fractions available in the soil in order to have a document with higth relevance, because although it is very well written I do not find a very novel background that has not been read in another document.

Reviewer 2 Report

I have seen a better preparation of the document and taking into account the suggestions of the reviewers.
