Analysis of BIM-Based Digitising of Green Building Index (GBI): Assessment Method
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
This study explores the importance of BIM-based digitizing with GBI as an assessment approach during the building's operation stage guidelines.
Overall, the paper is written with an appropriate flow and other than a few minor typos it can be accepted. For example, in line 127, "highlighted" should be "highlighting".
Author Response
That was a very useful comment from the reviewer that would improve the clarity and the focus of our paper. As well as take out the paper of a good manner. The word (highlighted) have been amended to highlighting.

Reviewer 2 Report
This research investigates the possibility of using BIM tools in the assessment of the Green Buildings Index for Malaysia. Through their work, the authors investigate the potential of the BIM method in order to increase the efficiency of the assessment itself.
The article itself is well structured, presenting an adequate introduction, with a good understanding of the context of research on BIM applied to the sustainability of buildings, an extensive literature review that is not redundant but specific and well contextualized. Appreciable the writing of the two subsections 1.3 and 1.4 about the motivations of the research and the objectives.
Still, some minor revisions are deemed necessary:
- In the abstract, the authors cite the DA without specifying the meaning of the acronym. In section 1.2, the reader will learn that DA stands for Design Assessment, and that it is the second stage of the GBI assessment, but until that moment, the reader still wonders what DA is about.
- More recent paper should be added
- About the methodology, additional information about the groups involved in the study (e.g., the numerosity of the groups) would be appreciated.
- Personally, I found the explanation and commentary of the graphs in the results section difficult to follow. It is suggested that the exposition be improved with more clarity. The reader finds it cumbersome to continually switch between the concepts of "points", "credits", "GBI criteria", etc.
- Finally, I would check the formal rendering in English. Try to use a more concise style but without losing content and information.
