The Politics of Protest and Gender: Women Riding the Wings of Resistance
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
I would like to congratulate you for this article, which makes visible the importance of gender struggles and their resistances, but especially without making invisible the struggles of LGTB+ women.
If the article is signed by a woman, or a team in which there are women, it would show absolute coherence with the content, if on the contrary, there are no women in the team, or it is signed by a man, you should review this aspect as a new academic attack on the women colleagues who work on these issues.

Reviewer 2 Report
Over all the quality of writing is of very high quality, yet some sections can be written directly. For example, "women are depicted in large numbers protesting a variety of gendered topics: from unjust rulings in cases of domestic violence,....".
Why not, more direct expression, "women in large numbers protested a variety ...."
The abstract can be shortened and some of it can be added to the introduction.
Somewhere, the popularity of the princess can be mentioned which indicates that the monarchy still remains close to the hearts of many Thais except the current incumbent's Caligula like behavior is tarnishing the image of this time-honored institution.
Author Response
Dear Ma'am/Sir,
Thank you very much for your kind review, I agree that I can make more direct statements (I tend to be a bit wordy...). I will also take your recommendation to include the Thai princess, you are right that she is very popular and would likely be a boon to the institution of the Monarchy. I thank you for bringing this point to my attention.
Kind regards,
TM
