Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The study is relevant for the present conditions and has addressed an actual topic.
The concept on gathering the data is well described, there are 17 representatives interviewed.
The research results reflect that  "(...)many of the MF had to work under conditions that did not guarantee their safety
against COVID-19" - the kind of conclusion is quite bold and asks for more precise clarification.
The conclusions are drawn, basing on the opinions of the farmworkers. The  study highlights important problems that the migrant farmworkers in Spain have faced, yet the sample is too small to apply the critical research results to the overall sector. In this regard more research - e.g. observations by the researchers, opinions from the companies, government officials and trade unions would be necessary. It is therefore necessary to provide additional research or to rephrase conclusions, e.g. the last sentence - indicating the concrete measures that could help in improving the situation.

Reviewer 2 Report

The authors must improve the abstract section. Needs reformatting- the writer has explained the background, objectives, and so on in the abstract section with bold headlines, which should be removed and rigorous reformatting according to the study should be done( they can go through the other published article for formatting and styles). If possible, try to explore a quantitative approach to presenting data (like indexing scores) in the result section, which will make the article interesting to the readers and easy to understand.
