Comments and Suggestions for AuthorsThis article looks at the interplay between migration, climate change, gender relations, and economic development in Nigeria. The authors provide a well designed literature review that situates their research in the academic discourse. They also identify a gap in the literature they hope to address in their study. Their methodology is appropriate for the research question and they provide a strong justification for their sample size as well as their approach to the research. Their results are well organized and well situated in the academic literature.
My only suggestion is to include a map of the study region. I think it would help readers understand the situational location of the study region in Nigeria.
Overall, this is an outstanding contribution to the migration literature. It not only emphasizes the importance of climate change on migration, but shows how climate change is not just an individual factor influencing migration, but acts as an influence on political, social, economic influences on migration.
Thank you for the opportunity to review. I learned a lot. Best of luck in your future research.
