Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

I read the paper with interest. It is well structured, the text is cursive, clear, coherent, well documented. The bibliography is current and relevant.

Recommendations:

- To check and revise the figures from lines 76-77  "80,291,894 persons who are economically active (aged 15 to 64) out of 116,871,186, are unemployed in Nigeria". - The number of unemployed people must be lower than the number of active people.

- At point 5 Discussion of findings (pay attention to the size of the characters) - to be completed for future research directions;

- For education - respective the undergraduate programs with specialization in entrepreneurship - how does this study help? Can the Syllabus of some courses be improved? Can teaching methods be identified that can stimulate student innovation?

- To the conclusions - to make recommendations regarding measures/strategies for the development of entrepreneurial education with an emphasis on innovation. The hypotheses validated and confirmed by the literature, how can they help in changing the vision regarding entrepreneurial education? If students who have these entrepreneurial skills/behaviors - how can the university "activate" them and enter the labor market through entrepreneurship?

Thank you!

The article provides valuable insights into the relationship between entrepreneurial behavior, innovation, and undergraduate students in southwest Nigeria. The study's focus on private universities and the use of structural equation modeling enhances the understanding of entrepreneurial tendencies among this specific group.

The study aims to investigate the influence of entrepreneurial behavior on innovation among undergraduate students, providing a clear focus for the research. The use of structural equation modeling enables a comprehensive analysis of the data, allowing for the examination of multiple variables and their relationships.

However, there are several issues need to be further addressed. The article would benefit from a more detailed explanation of the specific variables used in the study, such as how opportunity identification, self-efficacy, and risk tolerance were measured. This would improve the reader's understanding of the research process. It would be also helpful to discuss any limitations or potential biases in the research design or methodology, which could affect the generalizability of the findings.
