Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The manuscript presented by Kyung-Hyun Cho et al, presents a very interesting study of the wide spectrum of biological activities of ozonated sunflower oil. The theoretical introduction is concise but provides a good introduction to the topic. The authors have very well chosen the research methods for the question posed and they have carefully carried out the experiments. In the final part of the paper, the authors have discussed the obtained results in an interesting way. An interesting aspect may be the practical application of ozonated sunflower oil in the future. The paper can be published in its present form.

Author Response

Thank you very much for your decision.

We are also encouraged greatly by your compliment.

We would do further research to investigate hidden functionality of ozonated oil.

Thank you again for your acceptance.

Reviewer 2 Report

The manuscript describes work which appears to have been executed to a high standard and would seem acceptable for publication after very minor revision. It should be of interest across a range of fields.

Line 139, three dimensional.

Lines 161, 309, 330 and 422 (may be elsewhere, too). Quite important: I think BV-2 is a mouse glial cell line, not human. This must be checked.

Line 451, delete histidine (Davies 2012)?

Line 507, in vitro, italicise.

Ans: Yes. As reviewer's comment, BV-2 is C57BL6 mouse glial cell line.

We deleted human and corrected it in entire text.

Line 451, delete histidine (Davies 2012)?

Ans: We deleted it as reviewer's suggestion. We are sorry for typographical error.

Line 507, in vitro, italicise.

Ans: We italicised it in Conclusion.
