Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

A very well written article with implications of importance in the current situation of Covid 19 pandemic.

A few observations include:

1.Some of the sentences are quite long and can be broken down to 2 or more smaller sentences for a better understanding.

2.Quality of written english can be further improved.

3.Future implications of the results of the study can be elaborated in detail in  the discussion section.

4.Have similiar studies in non-covid patients been conducted by other authors?.If so,it would have been desirable if a comparative analysis of the results with other similar studies been included in the discussion section.

Reviewer 2 Report

Dear Authors, first of all I would like to congratulate You on your work. The topic Is of great clinical relevance. However, I believe that the article could be improved. Please, take a note of some suggestions.

Introduction- this section is short and should be more focused on the topic in question. If possible describe more details about Periodontal diseases.

I would suggest this paper "Porphyromonas gingivalis, periodontal and systemic implications: A systematic review" DOI10.3390/dj7040114, so you could add some informations about Periodontal diseases.

Materials and methods- this section is well organized,

Please, describe this section  meticulously as this is very important for the readers. Statistical analysis is very basic.

There isn't section conclusion! please write the limits of present study.

I believe that your manuscript would have much more relevance after suggested improvements
