Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Detailed recommendations and suggestions are mentioned in the text. Few general comments are listed below:

- Keeping method is not precisely described. If the manuscript focuses only on lactating cows, it should be specified in the methodological section.

- The use of abbreviations should be clarified, not only in the text but also in the tables.

- Conclusions are general, more specified conclusions are needed. There were no comparative analysis of dairy cows and dary buffalos in this study.

Reviewer 2 Report

This study delivered a LCA comparison between two dairy buffalo systems with feeding plans of without Corn Silage (NCS) and with Corn Silage (CS) based rations. The topic is of interest, the results are solid and fit in the scope of the journal.

Line 101-102, a repeated sentence as previous one.

Line 151, need a comma between the 2 and respectively.

Line 156, “to” should be removed.

Line 216, the expression of equation (2) is misleading, please modify.

Line 801, table or figure?

Author Response
