It is a good paper; however authors should put considerable effort to:
a) strengthen the agricultural dimension of their work,
b) justify the selection of the specific pests
and c) link their findings with the potential utility and importance for agronomists and farmers. Indicatively, In Table 1, authors should include tha common english name of each pest and the scientific (latin) name. I would avoid using only abbreviations as key words. Also, some parts of the paper ought to be revised (eg L.59: sophisticatedly, L.102: goodness of the dataset)

The work was done on a current topic. The influence of insects causes significant harm to the safety of food products. The requirements of most countries regulate the complete absence of insects during storage and movement of products. There are a number of issues with this material:

1. Requirements for the presence of insects are not presented.

2. Losses due to the presence of insects are not indicated. Thus, the relevance of the study is not fully disclosed.

3. Studies are presented in isolation from the technology of product storage.

4. It is not specified how the visual inspection will be carried out. The photographs shown in Figure 9 are made on a white background, which is not always possible in real conditions.

5. Recommendations on the implementation and implementation of technology are not presented.

6. It is not clear what technological operations will be proposed for insect control and what economic effect will be obtained.

7. It is not clear how important the definition of a particular insect species is in comparison with the fact of the presence of insects.

8. To what extent the accuracy of identification of a particular insect species will affect the technological process.

9. Conclusions should be specified based on the purpose and objectives of the study.

The work was carried out on the current topic of ensuring the safety of crops during storage. Losses caused by insects and pests cause significant damage to both producers and consumers of agricultural products. The authors have done significant work to refine the source material, which significantly clarifies the understanding of the material.

As a small note, it is worth noting the following:

1. Conclusions should be supplemented with numerical data on the obtained and possible values of metrics for the quality of model performance.

2. Proofread the material. There are small typos in the text.
