Moderate editing of the English language is necessary. The interpretation of methods and results needs extensive improvements.

This paper presents a CR-WSN method for being applied in irrigation systems.

CR is a concept that has been developed some years ago. The main reason to implement CR in a wireless communication system is because of spectrum scarcity. A problem that is or will be in urban environments, is due to the quantity of transmission in small areas.

In this case, the author tries to apply CR in a rural environment. Rural environments are those places that until now report a very low spectrum occupancy. Thus, the algorithm and the proposal look interesting but this work should be submitted in a journal paper related to Wireless Communications or Electronics, and not in a Journal about Agriculture.

I find the related work section rather small. I recommend expanding it so it reaches at least more than 600 words.

In Figure 1, there seems to be a text that has been cut under the mobile phone on the left.

The legend in Figure 6 seems to be wrong.

Also, there are 6 references from the author. I recommend reducing them.

In line 27, you use the term sensors to describe both the device that integrates the sensors and the sensors themselves, resulting in the phrase: “The sensors are equipped with a range of sensors, such as…”. I recommend using another term such as sensor device to avoid any confusions. For example, “The sensor devices are equipped with a range of sensors, such as…”.
