The abstract of the work was written correctly and clearly, thanks to which it reflects the basic assumptions, research findings and conclusions.

The subject matter of this article is up-to-date and important because it concerns the problem of CO2 emissions, which is acute for China. This article presents the result of a comprehensive study “agricultural production trusteeship services - application of green production technologies - agricultural carbon emission reduction”. Thanks to such a procedure, the result gives an answer to the practical question whether "agricultural production trusteeship services" contribute to "agricultural carbon emission reduction"?; to what extent?; and what types of farms are most susceptible to this beneficial change? In my opinion, the initial part of the introduction should clearly define what "agricultural production trusteeship" is, because it is not a commonly known and used phrase. This article, however, may be interesting not only for agricultural managers.

The methodological part of the work has been reliably described by indicating the method of obtaining primary data and justifying the choices used in the research procedure. It is also worth emphasizing the systematic approach during data analysis, as described in the research project. The complex research model makes this work an interesting theoretical study. In my opinion, the practical value of this complex approach (due to its high degree of complexity) is less than the theoretical value. My statement is the result not only of the assessment of the level of analytical complexity and numerous initial assumptions, but also of the declarative nature of the data. However, this remark is not an objection to this work, but only a statement of fact and justification for assessing this work as a theoretical work.

Conclusions and recommendations were formulated on the basis of the obtained results and refer to the adopted assumptions. I find the obtained results interesting, because they lead to further reflection on this issue. The results of this work indicate the directions of activities of the Chinese government that can contribute to the modernization of agricultural production. This, in turn, should result in a reduction of CO2. Perhaps also the simplification of the research model would increase the utility value of this study.

The paper is interesting, well developed and brings an important insight into the role of public policies in fostering the transition to sustainability.   Perhaps this could be an additional question suggested as a minor review.  In the final considerations and among the highlights of the paper, the authors were able to discuss the managerial and scientific contributions of the manuscript beyond the case itself. How the analysis carried out can - and should - be extrapolated to public and private decision makers in order to accelerate the conversion of systems (food or not) to carbon neutrality, from the perspective of public policies such as the one discussed in the work

That is, once you resolve the issue of being available in another portal, according to the journal's norms, my opinion is of approval, with the occasional suggestion that the authors seek to discuss the managerial and scientific implications (great lessons of the case) to the area.
