This paper focuses on enhancing the accuracy and stability of a single BDS/INS sensor system in agricultural machinery, aiming to broaden its application possibilities. The authors introduce a navigation and positioning model called IABC-BP, which is based on an improved bee colony algorithm-optimized BP network.

Key features of this model include the use of adaptive coefficients and speed adjustment coefficients following a Gaussian distribution. These coefficients help strike a balance between convergence rate, group flexibility, and searchability during the search process. Additionally, the paper proposes an implicit adaptive layer formula for the BP network.

The authors apply the IABC algorithm and Kalman filter to create a BDS/INS navigation and positioning model for agricultural machinery. They conduct simulation tests and real-world applications, which demonstrate a significant improvement in model performance compared to the original one, with enhancements of 90.65%, 84.11%, and 25.96%, respectively. This suggests that the proposed model is highly accurate and effective.

Furthermore, the model is designed for information fusion and compensation correction, effectively handling errors in longitude and latitude within the target range, and achieving reliable navigation and positioning accuracy quickly. It also exhibits good stability and generalization capabilities, making it suitable for a wider range of navigation scenarios in the future.
