Also, I would like to see the figures in high quality and more expressions in mathematical expressions. Please if you could write them to MathType.

We appreciate you very much for your positive and constructive comments and suggestions on our manuscript. The revised manuscript has been undergo extensive English editing。The all figures have been revised to high quality, and the all mathematical expressions have been edited with MathType. We have used the "Track Changes" function in Microsoft Word for all the revisions.

Dear Authors, Thank you for sending such a intersting paper, I feel honoured to prepare a peer review. In my opinion, the paper is constructed well, the method is presented step by step. In my version of the paper, figures are well visible anr readable. I have a really small sugestions for you.

1) I miss the thesic claerly statet in the Introduction section.

2) In the section 2.1. there are only 2 sentences concernig study area, for me, this should be a little bit extended, maybe you can add some information about water fluxes, climatoloigy, basins, maybe add some map pointing the localization of the South China Sea

3) For me a secion 2.2. can be improved by adding more detailes in the Figure 2 desription
