  • paragraphs are sometimes too short; the argumentative passage from one paragraph to the next is not always clear
  • secondary literature (historical, theological) on the christian concepts of Jesus as seal is missing
  • the use of concepts/expression such as "Abrahamic (narrative, specturm, tradition)" should be explained
  • the sources need to be contextualized further
  • sometimes too polemical
  • sometimes the author tacidly assumes the plausibility of his argumentation without explaining why
  • historical parallels (e.g. history of Christianity and eschatological role of Jesus in Islam) are not always convincing and need to be substantiated
  • the is no chapter "conclusion"

I thank you in advance for your suggestions which I consider particularly enriching for the article's publication. 

I consider all of them and I tried to ameliorate the entire article.

  • Clarification of the Introduction.
  • I add a Conclusion fragmenting the last section
  • As Italian, I usually have the problem in elaborating too long paragraphs (ironic), not in making them too short, anyway, I tried to clarify some of these passages.
  •  I am not so expert in Christian literature, so I add few works on this side.
  •  I tried to cut polemics, even if I maintained a firm opposition to the excessive parallelism among Old-New Testament quotations and the Islamic interpretation on the Khatm an-Nabiyyin (David and Muhammad on the Bethsabea's case) 
  •  I tryed to clarify some obscure parts as the Jesus eschatological assumption within Islam, which anyway still remain quite hard to understand for me.

 

I remain at your disposal for any further clarification.

1-The translation of Koran (33, 40) is not correct : “Muhammad is not the father of any one of you your men; he is God’s messenger and the Seal…”

2-Regarding the question of Islamic interpretations of the khatam in the early centuries and, above all, in contemporary Islam, the most recent book is not mentioned: Y. Sangaré, Le scellement de la prophétie en islam (khatam al-nubuwwa), Paris, Geuthner, 2018).
