Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The introduction is too long. The author needs not to engage in details of the contents of the paper in the introduction.

Where there is more than one source cited, the sequence should follow either alphabetical or by the year of publication and not just haphazard.

Write FAREME in full first.

The article is well done!

The content is good!

The content is well focused on "Christian Education (CE) in the Church of Christ in Zimbabwean (COCZ) schools.

The form is good. However, it can be improved.

There are only five (5) references in the text with their corresponding page numbers. All these are only for direct quotations. The author can put page numbers to the references where the idea or concept has been paraphrased. References with pages can quickly help readers consult the quoted reference for verification or to deepen their knowledge. Citing mostly references without their corresponding pages in some universities in the UK can consider the work too general and less focused!

Please see the attached version of the article after the correction of some minor errors!

NB: The references are to be corrected according to the MDPI style!

This article is both challenging and inspirational.  It is well supported with the literature - included recent unpublished theses.  The depth of scholarship is to be commended.

See inside the attached file for further feedback.

On the whole the article reads well.  However there are two places where it feels a bit repetitive and some polishing of the paragraphs would improve the reader's experience.

Also, in the attached file i identify a couple of sentences where the syntax does not help convey the meaning.
