Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Dear authors, in my opinion, this article brings significant arguments regarding the treated subject. The research, studies and the simulated results are valuable, correctly defined and properly described. I think that your article will be interesting to readers of  Electronics journal and useful for some of them.

Regarding the content of the article I have the following questions:

Since you have not done experimental studies, what would be the possible parasitic influences in the communication chain and how can they be anticipated/eliminated?

The article does not follow the provided template:

All the schemes (figures) must follow the same formatting: figures must be placed in an invisible column table - are the figures inserted in this way? If there are multiple panels, they should be listed as: (a) Description of what is contained in the first panel; (b) Description of what is contained in the second panel...see figure 6. Caption of the figures (figures title) should be centered - see all figures.

The space before and after the figures should be set according to the template (see figures 3, 7, 8, 9) -  please correct if is necessary.

In order to have a better understanding of this work the figures must be placed in the main text near to the first time they are cited (see  figures 1, 7, 8 and 9).

To have a uniform presentation, check the capture/clarity and the format of the figures 6-12.

Tables should be placed in the main text near to the first time they are cited: see tables  3, 4, 6 and 7. Caption of the tables (tables title) should be centered - see all tables.

The text following an equation need not be a new paragraph. Please punctuate equations as regular text.

The format of References paragraph is correctly defined? If not please correct.

Check the title of paragraph 4.3.4 (Packet Loss Raio?).

Reply: Thank you for your comment. We have simulated our proposed approach on NS2 and tried to find the estimated results which is shown in Figures in the experimental result section. The results are also compared to the existing algorithms to provide the rate of efficiency achieved.

Reply: Thank you for your comment. We have modified according to the Journal requirements.

Check the title of paragraph 4.3.4 (Packet Loss Raio?).

Reply: Thank you for your comment. We have modified to Packet Loss Ratio

Reviewer 2 Report

In general, the text is very well structured and has clearly defined topics. Some comments for improvement:

Authors could consider refining the abstract in a way that better describes the main outcome and novelty of their work.

- From Figure 8 to Figure 12, the y-axis legend and the x-axis legend need to be refined.

- In the section Proposed Framework (System Model) in line 300 you referenced step a b, but these steps are not presented in the paper.

- In figure 5, (Workflow- Proposed technique), the last condition step you did not indicate the result of the condition (Yes or No) on the return to the step ("For each node, calculate the SVs in intra-clusters"). Please correct it.

- Trust management in VANE is not discussed in this paper. Please indicate this as future work
