Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The paper must be carefully revised for typo mistakes as well as english language usage.

In line 37, the word "letter" must be replaced by "paper".

Introduction and related work section may be separated. Both are suggested to be expanded.

Present your contributions in the introduction section as bulleted points. In the last paragraph of introduction, also give the overview of the organization of your paper.

In algorithm 1: second line, j belongs to "N1 U N1". it must be N1 U N2.

section 2.1, refer to Line 61-62, "the slots are partitioned into two types of intervals: the valid election interval and the hold-off interval." Followup the line explaining what is election interval and hold-off interval. Because the significance of election process is neither explained prior to this mentioning or how it generally takes place, and why its necessary?

Please improve the section 2 also.

In general, research article is a more detailed article than a Letter so things must be well explained.

Dear Collegue,

the paper seems original and surely deserves to be accepted. It is very clear in the mission and is overally balanced with a clear simulation stage.

Nevertheless I suggest two things in order to refine the final version.

1) In order to reinforce your valuable work, I ask to widen the test stage providing more test.

2) the Bibliography is quite compact. Considering that this topic is dealt with many researchers in the world, a wider bibliography is welcome. Here I suggest two papers but obviously, you are completely free to adopt them. It is only important to introduce more papers.

The papers that I suggest face the problem of the AdHOC WSN and can be happily inserted near current reference [4-6].
