Comments and Suggestions for Authors1. The adopted antenna is not explicitly described. More details are needed. Such as working frequency, bandwidth, etc.
2. How is the monopulse algorithm implemented in the adopted antenna? What is the connnection between beamforming with antenna configuration?
3. A Pseudocode is needed to demonstrate the proposed improved monopulse algorithm.
4. More related literature on specific spectrum and use case can be included, such as follow:
[1] "A MmWave communication testbed based on IEEE 802.11ad with scalable PtMP configuration," in China Communications
[2] "Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface for Near Field Communications: Beamforming and Sensing," in IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications
5. The figures are not clear enough.
Comments on the Quality of English LanguageThe english can be polished by native speaker.

Comments and Suggestions for AuthorsThe authors propose a novel technique for DOA estimation for airborne-based communication systems. Advantages of the article: 1) A novel method of monopulse curve linearisation technique is offered. 2) The method of DOA destination is implemented, and its operation is verified. 3) The accuracy of angle estimation is assessed. Disadvantages of the article: 1) The direct comparison with other DOA estimation techniques is strongly recommended. 2) Especially the authors should compare the computational complexity of the methods. 3) The reviewer detected some minor typos, e.g. “exp” in italics in equation (15).
Comments on the Quality of English LanguageEnglish is good.

Another suggestion is that the figures can be more clear, such as using vector pictures.
