The manuscript deals with a current and interesting topic.

However, minor revisions are required before publication.

In detail, in paragraph 3.1 it would be useful to add a summary table of data sources.

A paragraph describing the six case studies of Taiwanese cities analyzed should be added. In this section, it would be useful to provide detailed quantitative information on DTRs and road traffic accidents, if possible also in the form of GIS maps.

The methodology is complex, so a flow chart would be useful to improve its readability.

The Results and Discussion section is long so it would be useful to divide it into two parts, with Results and Discussion described individually.
