Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Dear authors:

The study is interesting as it contrasts the perspectives of teachers and students in the same context, and contextualised in a specific moment, which is of great importance in educational transformations.

However, for its publication, I suggest some improvements to be considered by the researchers:

1. The introduction and theoretical framework, in my opinion, should refer to online learning, and to the different existing theoretical and empirical contributions in this regard.

2. It should be specified what kind of qualitative design is being developed and why.

3. The participants are described correctly. However, confusing for the reader, giving a sum of 105 participants in the description of the Table, mentioning 133 in the heading "research and questions" and 150 in the summary and other parts of the text. This should be revised. Also, the presence of only 3 teachers, and their profile, should be justified.

4. In the data analysis, the categories, their type and the process of analysis should be described.

5. The results are presented more as an exposition than as a relationship between categories and quotations. Conclusions are also scarce.

6. The final references should be revised.

Reviewer 2 Report

Dear Authors,

This is a relatively a good work - congrats! However, there's a few things that can be done to improve:

1) In line 162 -Totally - should be changed to "In total"

2) There was no mention of  a) why only 5 students were interviewed b) how these 5 students were selected - There are previous literature that 5 interviews are acceptable, based on good reasonings - perhaps you can add that in your methodology to substantiate your findings .

Other parts seem fine to me.
