Abstract

- Direct question: Does it happen that you attend work when sick (e.g., with a cold, toothache, backache or migraine)? (1) yes, often; (2) yes, sometimes; (3) no, never.
- Indirect question: Please mark the ailments that you worked with (more than one answer is possible): rhinitis/sore throat, cough/headache/increased temperature/gastrointestinal disorders/toothache/back or neck or joint pain/fatigue/concentration problems.
- A total of 174 teachers working in primary, middle and secondary schools;
- A total of 165 nurses working in public or private health care units;
- A total of 168 private sector office workers.
