Efficient adsorption of Tl(I) from aqueous solutions using Al and Fe-based water treatment residuals

FTIR and XPS should be also described according to the request of the journal, check to use the full spell or the abbreviations.

line 90, check the exact name of the XPS software.

line 103, check the exact unit of k.

line 139, many similar sentences can be found in your paper, please polish your English for the whole paper.

Table 1, the explanation of W%?

Figure 9, it is wired that the 4f of Ti in your XPS. Where are the peaks of f5/2 in Fe-WTR

 and Al-WTR?

Fig 10, the splitting of the XPS peaks should be based on the the original data instead of mankind will.

# the text "and these residuals have superior adsorption properties due to their large surface areas and chemical compositions". This is not true, as there are numerous materials with superior areas and with greater affinities. Authors may emphasize sustainability but not cite better capabilities

# when authors cite "Adsorption conditions also affect adsorption capacity", they should mention which factors and reference.

The introduction should bring a "state of the art" on the use of water treatment sludge as an adsorbent and mainly of Thallium.

The results should be discussed further, comparing the results with other adsorbents.

 # As it is a residue (the adsorbent), it is important to evaluate the toxicity of the effluent after adsorption and perform blank tests to analyze the leaching of compounds present in the sludge

Paper is presented well and accepted after minor revision:

1. Remove abbreviations from abstract section.

2. Give the comparision table for the material with others.

3. Improve the introduction with incorporation of following references:
