Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

In this study, a novel factor of crotoxin inter-CRO (V-1) was purified using a new HPLC method. By evaluating the effect of V-1 on isolated muscle cells, it was found that this toxin played a vital role in the envenoming effect caused by toxins in the bite of the venomous snake Crotalus. This research will be helpful for scientists studying this field. Overall, the MS  was well designed, the methods were appropriately used, and the results were reliable. In addition, a little suggestion, i think the author should further study the function and mechanism of V-1 in the next research.

Reviewer 2 Report

The paper entitled "Purification and characterization of a novel factor of crotoxin inter-CRO (V-1), a new phospholiphase A2 isoform from Crotalus durissus collilineatus snake venom using an in vitro neuromuscular preparation" is well written. The methods used are appropriate and well described. Results are presented in a suitable manner, and conclusions are derived from obtained results. Spell check would be beneficial - e.g. lines 261, 266, 272...
