Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The authors demonstrated the effects of P3CT-Na polymer concentration in water solution on the performance of perovskite solar cells. Among the four concentrations of 24%, 36%, 48% and 60%, 48% showed obviously better photovoltaic parameters. Then, the authors investigated the P3CT-Na surface and interfaces between MAPI using various techniques.  Although the authors described the results in a clear way, the whole story is still less convincing.

There are several points the author may consider:

1.     Line 89-91, the author discussed 48% P3CT-Na… effectively collects the photo-generated holes from the MAPI film. The conclusion was obtained without relevant support.

2.     Similarly, Line 95-97, the larger shunt resistance… is related to the carrier recombination at…, which statement was not precisely accurate because the larger shunt resistance is not only caused by carrier recombination and it can be a combined mechanism. The authors showed no experimental evidence or relevant literatures to support.

3.     The authors did not explain how to calculate the series resistance and shunt resistance of the devices. By equivalent circuit fitting or by fitting the slopes of IV?

4.     Figure 4 showed the contact angles of different concentrations. The difference in the angle is quite minor, compared to the other reported hole modification layer. ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces 2017, 9, 10, 9096–9101

5.     The English needs to be carefully checked for typos and grammar. For example, Line 61-63, the grammar needs to be considered.

Title: Conformal loading effects of P3CT-Na polymers on the performance of inverted perovskite solar cells

Authors fabricated with P3CT-Na HTL based MAPbI3 inverted perovskite solar cells to determine optimum the concentration of P3CT-Na/water. The article is acceptable, but the following recommendations need to be made;

 i) There are some typing errors and inaccuracies in the manuscript. Please, check the paper again for any possible misprints.

ii) The introduction should be improved (The literature review is weak). Also, introduction part needs to be extended by some of the recently published papers to show the importance of perovskite solar cells in high-quality journals. The following references should be included in this manuscript:

iii-) It is recommended to draw a separate layer for P3CT-Na in Figure 1.

iv) Optical transmittance measurement of P3CT-Na on ITO should be made.

v-) SEM measurement of perovskite films on P3CT-Na/ITO should be performed.

Round 2

Reviewer 1 Report

The authors addressed all the points I raised. Just one sentence the authors added "It is noted that the small difference in the contact angle is reasonable because the contact surfaces both are P3CT-Na polymers." Since there are 4 differenct conditions, the word "both" is not suitable.

Author Response

We thank the reviewer to giving us the opportunity to modify this aspect. "both" is removed from the sentence.

Reviewer 2 Report

The article can be published as it is.

We thank the reviewer for reviewing our revised manuscript.
