This article provides a good review on the use of rotary generators of hydrodynamic cavitation for wastewater treatment with enhanced anaerobic digestion. Please see below few comments that may contribute to the improvement of the overall quality of the paper.

Line 105: It could be worth emphasizing that the hydrolysis is rate limiting and critical step in the anaerobic digestion, which can affects the following steps if not monitored closely.

Line 130: Maybe it is also worth mentioning the environment conditions inside anaerobic bioreactors that enable the prevalence of either methane producing bacteria or sulfate reducing bacteria. The latter being an opposing force to methanogenesis. 

Line 288: Please correct the punctuation and re-phrase this sentence.

Line 291: I would suggest introducing the underlying principle behind the Navier-Stokes equations before providing the Rayleigh-Plesset equation.

Line 292-294: Most people know that dt is the rate of change of the time. But this might not be known by all the readers. Please also "t" in this section.

There isn't a flow between equation 6 and 7, please create it starting with the principle behind the Navier-Stokes equations.

Line 303, 520: I assume the authors meant "below" not "bellow". Please correct it.

Line 347: Please correct the punctuation in this sentence.

Line 521: Please correct the subscript in chemical formula the of the hydrogen peroxide

Table 2: It could be more intuitive to have an apple to apple comparison by providing COD removal percentages consistently, as opposed to inlet-outlet values or ranges.
