Previous studies in social cognition in people with schizophrenia have considered reflexive function as a possible marker of disease, however there are few studies that have considered the influence of neurocognitive variables on emotional processing. Aim: to analyze the processing speed, attention and reaction time and its relationship with the reflexive function in people with schizophrenia and control group. Method: A total of 190 subjects were recruited; 90 outpatients with DSM-V diagnosis of schizophrenia and 100 healthy controls. Clinical data were collected and following variables were measured: processing speed, attention, reaction time, reflexive function and global functioning. Results: Patients showed a lower performance in both cognitive and reflexive tests, except in hypermentalization (p> .05). Patients with worse processing speed performance had more errors in RF. Global functioning was related to FR, processing speed and attention. Discussion: Difficulties in reflective function of patients with schizophrenia could be involved in global functioning deterioration through their relationship with cognitive processes affected in these patients. The study analyzes whether there are differences in the levels of creativity of adolescents according to gender, cognitive level and academic course respectively. The sample consists of 670 adolescents (ages 12 to 16). The factorial analysis of the variable creativity reported two differentiated factors: divergent thinking (fluency, flexibility and originality components) and elaboration. In the intellectual aptitude variable, three intelligence groups were established (low, medium and high). In relation to the results, no statistically significant differences were found between genders for divergent thinking but in the elaboration factor in favor of the girls, which would indicate a significantly higher level of development, complexity and detail of a production or idea. No differences were found depending on the intellectual level for the divergent thinking factor. In the elaboration factor were found differences in favor of groups with greater intellectual capacity, which would partly support the independence of the constructs of creativity and intelligence. Lastly, the course variable shows a decrease in divergent thinking and the elaboration of progress in ESO, except that this last factor will present a zenith in the last year of ESO. Full article

In this paper we present the basis of a tool for managing and assessing the evolution of subjects (patients) with central nervous systems alterations. This tool takes into account behavioral data, combined with neurophysiological measures obtained from a specific hardware designed to capture evoked potentials. Evoked potentials are used to measure electrical brain activity in response to visual, auditory or somatosensory stimulus. The stimuli, which are sent to the brain through each of these senses, evoke minute electrical signals that can be interpreted. These neurophysiological measures have been used in countless cases, but it is necessary to implement formal- based software capable of providing the therapist storage and management methods of these signals, taking into consideration behavioral data, fused as an efficient way of obtaining a knowledge base for decision making. Particularly, in this paper we emphasize the use of a certain type of cognitive component (P300) as a neurophysiological measure to assess, objectively (analyzing its evolution over time), the effectiveness of clinical treatments designed to improve impulsivity and lack of concentration in ADHD subjects (Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder). Quality education in equality and equity requires the commitment of all members of the educational community. This is acquired by promoting the ongoing training of teachers, a continuous learning adapted to the needs and characteristics of the students. In this context, this article shows the results of a research whose purpose has been to know the level of training and knowledge of teachers of primary education in Andalusia, regarding the application of ICT to people with functional diversity. The research design used has been of mixed type (quantitative and qualitative methodology), analyzing 342 questionnaires provided to teachers of primary education and 84 interviews with key informants (members of management teams, ICT coordinators, directors and technological advisers of training centers of teachers). Among the conclusions we can highlight the lack of awareness and preparation on the part of the teaching staff, as well as the development of training experiences in this area is still insufficient and, sometimes, non-existent. Aging and quality of life have emerged strongly in the scientific space taking into account the rise of life expectancy. However, there is not much work focused on the study of the components that most influence the quality of life in people older than 60 to 90 years physically active. The present study evaluates the quality of life and practice of physical activity in 397 physically active elderly people in the province of Alicante. The main of the research is to know what are the factors that consider the most physically active people that most influence the quality of life. The results conclude that the components that most influence the quality of life are related to health, relationships, functional autonomy and remain active as the main factors influencing the quality of life of the most active in the economy, pension, housing or income. The results are the prelude to new studies that take into account the profile of physically active older people attending to the differences for practiced sports. Full article
