Thermal Data of Perfluorinated Carboxylic Acid Functionalized Aluminum Nanoparticles
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
Improving the energy level and combustion energy release efficiency has always been the focus and frontier of energetic materials research. In this manuscript, the surface of nano aluminum was covalently grafted with perfluorinated compounds to solve the problem of agglomeration and improve the combustion efficiency, and the structure and thermal performance data of modified nano aluminum were provided in detail. The relevant data have a certain reference value for the design and preparation of high-performance energetic composites.

Author Weeks and co-workers presented their work entitled "Thermal Data of Perfluorinated Carboxylic Acid Functionalized Aluminum Nanoparticles” is reported the aluminum-based nanoparticles with tuned nano-size. The manuscript is well written with supported appropriate literature citations, analysis, and simulation results. I find the manuscript easy to read, and I recommend the manuscript for publication in your reputed journal “Data” and hope this manuscript will support the related research communities in the future.
